The Big, Grand Picture and the Teeny, Tiny Details

While Ray and I were taking a stroll, we decided it was time to turn around and head the other direction. Then we saw this pretty scene.

After soaking in the beauty, we started to walk the other way. Very soon I looked down and saw a feather lying in the middle of the road. As I wondered what kind of feather it was, I noticed a leaf and an acorn lying beside it. I didn’t move a thing. I simply looked down at the pretty arrangement God had placed there on the pavement and snapped a picture.

Sometimes it is easier to trust our loving Father with the big, grand picture while we worry and fret over the teeny, tiny details.

I think our hearts will be more at peace when we learn to trust Him with both.

Jesus said:

These things I have spoken to you,
so that in Me you may have peace.
In the world you have tribulation,
but take courage; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33
